He tried to make it big and had played with a few names people may recognize, but never hitting the %u201cbig time%u201d like every talent dreams of. He is still chasing that neon rainbow. On the other hand, his mom was the glue that held the family together. There were times when Trinity, the oldest child, filled in the gaps for his parents. So when he needed to escape reality, it was through comic books. Ironically, what started as a parental-last-ditch-effort to get him to read (which worked), became a lifelong love affair with pictures. Each frame told a story%u2014a micro version of what was happening in the larger plot, and all the pictures together told a larger story. In the 1980s, Trinity was in love with the stories themselves. But by the 1990s, he began following certain artists with certain styles, appreciating their nuances of how different techniques were used to tell the stories.%u201cA picture is a story. Or at least it should be.%u201d
