Research the different organizations out there and pick one that suits your body type, goals and budget.Find a Coach:Find a coach that fits your beliefs and values. There are many different ways to get ready for the stage. Do your research and find someone that you align with. Then, you must trust their process!Get a Diary and Make Schedules / To-Do Lists:Start a journal and document your training and eating. Keep a log on how you feel and if you missed a workout etc. This is a great way to look back as the weeks progress leading up to your show. Keeping a to-do list helps to ensure that you have everything booked for THE day (i.e. tan, hair and makeup, suit selection, hotel fees etc.)Training:Train SMART! Training does not need to be 3 hours a day slaving in the gym. Nor does it mean that you should be walking out %u201ccrippled.%u201d Life will go on and sometimes you will have to re arrange your schedule and you might miss a session%u2026 It%u2019s not the end of the world! Diet: Find a diet that works for YOUR body. Learn to listen to your body and what food works well for you. To get ready for the stage, 80% will come from your diet. Say to yourself, %u201cWhen I walk on that stage, I have done everything I could%u2026 no cheating or missed meals.%u201dThe Final Touches: Posing, as with anything else, practice makes perfect. The more time you spend practicing, the better your body will present itself on stage. Choosing the right suit is very important to your overall appearance. There are certain colours that go well with a certain tan, hair colour, etc. The best thing to do is try on different styles of suits with your designer. Make sure that it is custom to YOUR body! You will spend months prepping for stage, why skimp out on the bikini that will make you pop? Enjoy yourself:This is the most important part! At the end of the day, no one is making you do this. You are choosing to partake in this amazing journey! Take time to reflect regularly and see how far you have come! And%u2026 DON%u2019T FORGET TO SMILE ON STAGE!
