However, when asked about it, she said one person specifically comes to mind: Caio Guimar%u00e3es. Caio was not only a talented acrobat, but also a dear friend of Branca%u2019s. He worked with Intr%u00e9pida Trupe, the most respected circus troupe in Brazil, a troupe that Branca had dreamed about performing with and was able to perform with at Rio de Janeiro%u2019s annual Carnival one year. She explained his inspiration shined through his actions. With his talent, he could%u2019ve moved on to work with Cirque du Soleil and made a better life for himself, but his passion lied with what he already did, so he continued doing just that. He wanted to stay in Rio de Janeiro, and he wanted to make his passion possible for others by teaching them. He never gave up on his passion and dreams; %u201cI admire that in him. He has, sadly, long been gone now. But never forgotten.%u201dA native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Branca traveled across the world at the mere age of 15 to start her career in the United States. Sounds a bit terrifying, right? Not for Branca %u2013 she claims she essentially had no fear at the time. %u201cI believe we all start off so free, as such fearless, curious, passionate children.%u201d She also believes that, at some point in life, everyone starts to let fear in; that%u2019s why she believes in pursuing dreams as soon as they%u2019re discovered.
