www.MOSTmag.com || FITNESS MAG A ZINE || 115FMM: Can you tell us about what you%u2019re up to these days?DNR: What I%u2019m doing with my time now has nothing to do with self-glory anymore. Boxing gave me enough of that. As of now, I%u2019m giving my time to help people get through their own individual battles by sharing my story in a powerpoint-style presentation. The one thing I didn%u2019t lose from boxing is the ability to speak and articulate well, so I%u2019m using it to my full advantage. I speak to alternative schools, detention centers, and high schools about bullying and the consequences it can have on someone%u2019s life. The organization I%u2019m a part of is Lucid Love (www.lucidlove.org). The founder, Veronica Cabada, lost her son due to bullying. He took his own life. We believe this is a very serious problem not only facing our youth, but people in every walk of life. I want to be the voice for the unheard and weak. I have a strong relationship with God and I want to help. I%u2019m also working with Face Forward (www.faceforwardla.org), an organization that helps raise money and awareness for severely disfigured people who have been assaulted in a violent crime or domestic abuse. I can relate to this because of my knife attack. I take both of these organizations very seriously and, since God allowed me a little more time on this earth, I want to give back in the best way I can. Helping others fulfills me more than boxing ever has.
