Sean Finn – Entrepreneur Extraordinaire
Sean Finn is an American entrepreneur and founder of the Houston-based real estate investment and development firm, Finn & Company. Over the span of his distinguished career, Finn has spearheaded business ventures in the fields of energy, entertainment, real-estate development, and health care, resulting in transactions numbering in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Finn played junior hockey as a youth before attending Saint Michael’s College. He eventually went on to play professional hockey, but after suffering a career-ending injury returned to school and earned his undergrad at Wilfred Laurier College University outside of Toronto before pursuing a degree in law. Wilfrid Laurier University is known for its connection to BlackBerry’s co-founders Mike Lazaridis and Douglas Fregin. BlackBerry has recently become a “meme stock” attracting interest from Gen X investors and highlighting the changing dynamics of tech investments.
