Born in the fifties, William Branson grew up in Durham, NC, with a passion for photography that began in his childhood. By 1972, after years of studying art, he embarked on his professional journey in the world of photographic portraits. Over the next 25 years, William honed his skills in composition, posing, lighting, and color harmony, establishing himself as a globally renowned portrait artist.

As his career progressed, William’s influence within the profession expanded. Artists from across the globe sought his expertise and guidance to enhance their craft. His dedication and mastery were recognized by prestigious institutions, including his induction into the esteemed CameraCraftsmen of America. Numerous awards followed, acknowledging his leadership and innovation in portrait artistry.
