Vlad Vandamme’s artistic journey began in the vibrant and culturally rich streets of Portland, Oregon. Vlad (Nic Vandamme) was naturally drawn to the world of graffiti from a young age. Nic initially chose the name Vlad to avoid attention from the police after his “tagging” in Portland. And after some time, it just became his alternate personality. The walls of Portland became his canvas, allowing him to
experiment with colors, forms, and techniques that would later define his unique style. Influenced by the city’s diverse artistic expressions and underground culture, Vlad’s work quickly stood out for its boldness and emotional depth.
